South Wales Outdoor Activity Providers Group was officially formed on 26th July, 2010

In order to give each Activity Provider control over the level of involvement with the Group, there are 3 Levels of membership and each Provider decides which level is right for them. Signing the FCW Concordat for the Waterfalls Area can be done at any of the 3 Levels.

Why Do We Need a Outdoor Activity Providers Group

The Outdoor Activity Provider Groups that were formed in South Wales in the past (SWOON, Charter Group) were generally seen as worthwhile by Activity providers and over the last few years there have been numerous discussions between providers about setting up a new group, taking the benefits of previous groups, but without the pitfalls and doing so in a sustainable way. There have also been ongoing requests from external bodies for the Activity Sector to have a point of representation that allows information to be disseminated effectively and to be able to consult with providers.
